About Chaiyaphum
Chaiyaphum is a large, mountainous province on the western edge of the Khorat Plateau, bridging the northeast with central Thailand via the Phetchabun range. Its most celebrated sight is the vast Pa Hin Ngam National Park, famous for fields of wild flowers blooming among bizarre eroded sandstone formations between January and March. The province is also the site of Prang Ku, a laterite Khmer prang that stands as a landmark of the ancient Angkor road network.
