About Buriram
Buriram is the heartland of ancient Khmer culture in Thailand, home to Phanom Rung Historical Park — a spectacular 10th–13th century Hindu temple complex perched on the rim of an extinct volcano with a perfect east–west alignment at sunrise during the equinoxes.
