About Prachin Buri
Prachin Buri is an eastern province on the border of the central plains and the eastern highlands, historically important as the site of Si Mahosot — a Dvaravati-period city whose ancient boundary stones and statues are displayed in the provincial museum. The province contains the eastern section of Khao Yai National Park and borders the newly established Thap Lan National Park, together forming one of Southeast Asia's largest protected forest complexes. A growing industrial estate centred on 304 Industrial Park has brought modern infrastructure while rural communities maintain traditional orchards and rice cultivation.
