About Uthai Thani
Uthai Thani is a small, sleepy province where the central plains meet the western highlands, bisected by the Sakae Krang River and centred on a compact town of wooden shophouses that has retained its old-Thailand character. Huai Kha Khaeng Wildlife Sanctuary — a UNESCO World Heritage Site shared with Thong Pha Phum — covers a large portion of the province and is regarded as one of Southeast Asia's most important wildlife refuges.
